Pumpkin Maple ice cream coffee float
An ice cream coffee float
Ingredients
- 8 Oz Strong coffee (I used dark roast, starbuck's cafe verona)
- 3 Oz Maple ice cream (2 large spoonfuls)
- 4 Oz Pumpkin spice creamer (I used chobani)
- 1 Tablespoon Pure maple syrup
- 1 Teaspoon Cinnamon sugar (Use good quality cinnamon like ceylon or vietnamese)
Method
- 1
Brew the coffee on the stronger side.
- 2
Add the ice cream to the bottom of your coffee mug. (Will need a bigger mug, possibly over 12 oz).
- 3
Add the coffee, and stir.
- 4
Taste, the ice cream doesn't make it as sweet as you think.
- 5
Add the creamer, to taste. Don't add too much, you'll be adding the maple syrup and cinnamon sugar.
- 6
Add the maple syrup and stir, then taste. At this point, you can use plain cinnamon or spice blends without added sugar if it's sweet enough.
- 7
Add the cinnamon or cinnamon sugar.
Notes
You can also use pumpkin pie spice blend or apple pie spice blend, instead of the plain cinnamon. Using a caramel or butterscotch drizzle would taste good, to. Adding cocoa powder or chocolate and making it as a mocha would take it in a darker direction, a pumpkin spice mocha. That would definitely taste good with caramel drizzle.
